Alan started as the management trainee in the steamship company of United States Line in 1985 and then various sales roles with the American President Line & Kline before joining the freight forwarding industry. In 1992, joined Expeditors International of Washington Inc. as the ocean manager all the way to Regional Vice President covering 1000 employees and 7 offices in Hong Kong, Macau & South China. From 2013 onwards, worked in FedEx Trade Networks as the managing director taking up various regional roles in the value-added services, trade lane development, key account management & air product head covering Asia, Middle East & Africa region. After over 30 years in the logistic business, Mr. Lo retired in June 2021.
