The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong Student Ambassadors 2023-2024 Inauguration Ceremony was held on 24 February 2023. This year’s inauguration theme was ‘Be Your Light, Brighten Our Life’. It was the honour of all 31 Student Ambassadors to invite Professor Jeanne Fu, Acting Vice-President (Learning and Student Experience), Dr Tom Fong, Vice President (Organisational Development), Ms Antonia Yeung, Associate Vice President (Development and Campus Services), Ms Esther Lee, Director of Student Affairs, Dr Holly Chung, Advisor of the Student Ambassadors Programme, Deans, Department Heads, staff and guests to witness the spectacular moment.

To show their gratitude to the honourable guests, Student Ambassadors prepared a desk lamp in the shape of a Ferris wheel, on which the small light bulbs symbolised the role students ambassadors, that is, to be the light that surrounds HSUHK. The Ferris wheel also turns continuously, symbolising how student ambassadors will continue to contribute to HSUHK, as shining light and echoing this year’s, ‘Be Your Light, Brighten Our Life’ theme.

31 Student Ambassadors are ready to serve HSUHK with the ‘To Learn and To Serve’ spirit.
Student Ambassadors Alumni Dinner
After the Inauguration Ceremony, new Ambassadors and Student Ambassadors alumni had dinner together. It was the very first time that the Student Ambassadors to have such a gathering. Special thanks to our former Student Ambassadors, Ms Myrna Lam, Ms Vivian Choi and Ms Zoe Chaung, who organised the event with the advice of the Student Affairs Office. The team hopes that more events will be organised to build stronger bonds with alumni Student Ambassadors.
