Interflow Meeting with Wuhan College

7 July 2017

A delegation from Wuhan College visited HSMC on 7 Jul 2017, following a visit by its academic staff in 2016. This year, Wuhan College’s delegation for the interflow meeting comprised mainly administrative heads who aspired to learn more about college management and operation, as well as building closer ties with HSMC.

Wuhan College is a non-profit institution founded by Mr Chen Yidan, one of the core founders of Tencent. The College has nine academic departments which offer degree programmes in business administration, finance, journalism and communication, and other disciplines. The delegation raised questions on HSMC’s teaching and learning, student development, campus management and so on. Provost Gilbert Fong, Dr Tom Fong, Acting Vice-President (Organisational Development), Prof Scarlet Tso, Associate Vice-President (Communications and Public Affairs) and heads of some administrative units elaborated on HSMC’s development and operations, and shared their experiences.

After a luncheon at The Always, the delegation joined a campus tour. The interflow meeting helped enhance mutual understanding and relationships between the two institutions.
