Terms of Reference
The Nomination Committee for Appointment of Governors and Chairmen/Members to Board Committees shall be subject to the terms of reference as follows:
- To recommend candidates to the Board for appointment as Governors;
- To recommend to the Board the re-appointment of existing Governors;
- To plan for the succession of Governors;
- To recommend candidates to the Board for appointment as Chairman/ members to Board Committees; and
- In making the recommendations, the Nomination Committee shall seek to achieve a balance of membership in terms of expertise and experience in order to meet the stipulated composition of the Board as spelt out in the Constitution and with regard to the development needs of the University.
