Terms of Reference
The Nomination Committee for Appointment of Council Chairman/Members shall be subject to the terms of reference as follows:
- To recommend candidates to the Board for appointment as Chairman/Members of the Council, when vacancy arises;
- To recommend to the Board for re-appointment of existing Chairman/Members of the Council;
- To plan for the succession of Chairman/Members of Council; and
- In making the recommendations, the Nomination Committee shall seek to achieve a balance of membership in terms of expertise and experience in order to meet the stipulated membership composition of the Council as spelt out in the Constitution of HSUHK and with due regard to the development needs of the University.
