Consul-General of Finland, Hong Kong visited HSMC

Hang Seng Management College offers students comprehensive exchange programme to universities around the world to broaden their international perspectives and enrich their study experience. To support student exchange activities and to promote cultural integration, HSMC has established contact with Consulate General personnel in Hong Kong, including meeting Mr Jari Sinkari, Consul-General of Finland, Mrs Johanna Manni, Consul and Mr Jaakko Hartikainen, Consular Services Coordinator from the General Consulate of Finland.

During their visit to the College on 22 November 2016, Dr Tom Fong, Acting Vice-President (Organisational Development) and other HSMC representatives introduced the recent development of the College to the Consul-General and his colleagues. In addition, a briefing session for students and a campus tour were organised. Local students interested in Finland gained valuable information from the General Consulate and from Finnish students staying at the College. HSMC has been engaging in exchange activities with Finland since 2013.

The College has also established contact with Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Hong Kong and Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany Hong Kong, who visited HSMC in September and October 2016 respectively.
