Convocation for New Students 2015/16

The Convocation for New Students 2015/16 of Hang Seng Management College was held on 1 September 2015 with great success. The Convocation was officiated by the President and other members of the Academic Board. Over 1,200 new students and around 17 exchange students were officially welcomed.

In the Convocation, President Simon S M Ho delivered a welcome address to all the new students, and encouraged them to make the best of the learning opportunities and develop the 21st century competencies with “ASK” (Attitude/Character, Skills and Knowledge) and wished them a fruitful and meaningful life experience at HSMC.

Mr Leon Liu, President of HSMC Students’ Union, also delivered a welcome remark to new students and shared that HSMC is a place of liberty and attempts. He encouraged students to experience their lives to the fullest without regrets.

While the event provided HSMC members with a great opportunity to assemble, students were acquainted with the Academic Board members, professors and teachers. Participants shared an enjoyable time together, accomplished by a special music performance given by the Sinfonietta of HSMC. The success of the Convocation marked an official commencement of the new academic year.
