HSUHK structures its undergraduate curriculum with a balance of three components: Major Studies, Common Core Curriculum and Free Electives. Minors are introduced to give students a second focused study area.

The Common Core Curriculum (CCC) is an important part of HSUHK’s “Liberal + Professional” education model. It cultivates the intellectual and practical skills essential for all kinds of learning while broadening students’ knowledge beyond their major, fostering a deeper understanding of diverse human experience.
