The Inauguration Ceremony of HSUHK Student Ambassadors 2018-2019 was held on 7 Mar 2019. President Ho encouraged the Student Ambassadors to try their very best and pass on the serving spirit. “It is the 4th year for me to participate in the ceremony. I am glad to see the growth of the Student Ambassadors Programme and it becomes one of the most valuable student programmes in HSUHK.”

Ms Rebecca Chan, Director of Student Affairs, mentioned the attributes of “AMBASSADOR”, and encouraged the Student Ambassadors to strive for the best to develop the qualities and work towards excellence.

To show the gratitude to the honourable guests, the Ambassadors prepared a bamboo slip with a Chinese poem which symbolised the determination to serve HSUHK despite of challenges.

Senior Ambassador Yanna Lo (BBA-SCM, Year 4), shared her experience in the past year. “I was scared in the beginning because I was not sure whether I could perform well. All Ambassadors were shining with confidence.” She later found her strengths and weaknesses during the Programme, which made her a better person.

Student Ambassadors Alumni Dinner

After the Inauguration Ceremony, new Ambassadors and Student Ambassadors alumni had dinner together. It was the very first time for Student Ambassadors to have such a reunion gathering. Special thanks to Mr Alan Wu, Ms Coco Chan, Mr Henry Lee and Mr Carlos Cheung who initiated and organised the event. It is hoped that more events would be organised to build a stronger bonding with alumni.
