Professor Scarlet Tso, Dean of the School of Communication (SCOM) at HSUHK signed a MoU with Professor Liu Tao, Dean of the School of Journalism and Communication of Jinan University (JNU) on 5 October 2023, to strengthen HSUHK’s relationship with JNU and elevate the School’s development in the Greater Bay Area (GBA).

Professor Tso led a delegation to visit the School of Journalism and Communication at JNU in May, and were welcomed bay Professor Zhi Tingrong, Party Secretary, as well as Professor Zeng Yiguo and Professor Luo Xin, the two Associate Deans of the School. Given that the two Schools share the objective to nourish talent in the fields of Communication and Journalism in the GBA, both Schools believe that fostering further cooperation in areas such as competitions, student exchanges, and academic research would be greatly beneficial for the development of both the Universities and its students.
