The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) is listed among the top 200 globally on “Quality Education” and “Decent Work and Economic Growth” in the latest 2021 Times Higher Education World University Impact Rankings that assesses the social, economic, and environmental impact of global universities in delivering the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The SDGs are a call for all economies to promote economic prosperity and social inclusiveness while protecting the planet.
The SDG of “Quality Education” assesses a university’s contribution to early years and lifelong learning, pedagogy research and commitment to inclusive education, whereas the SDG of “Decent Work and Economic Growth” measures a university’s performance of economic research, employment practices and the share of students taking work placements.
