HSUHK AI HUB launches training programme to enhance staff AI literacy

5 June 2026

On 4–5 June 2026, AI HUB@HSUHK launched its first AI Summer Training Programme, which was attended by over 80 academic and administrative staff from HSUHK.

Jointly established by the Centre for Teaching and Learning, the Information Technology Services Centre, and the University Library, the programme strengthened participants’ practical AI literacy and promoted responsible AI adoption in teaching, research, and administration.

Focusing on three key themes — optimising academic workflows with AI, creating innovative teaching materials using AI, and integrating AI into teaching practices — the programme introduced tools such as Gemini, NotebookLM, AI-powered multimedia, and learning analytics. It also featured sharing sessions and expert panel discussions with scholars from local and overseas institutions.
