HSMC Team Won Gold Award and Best Advertising Video Award in Joint University Outstanding Marketing Award

HSMC team won the Gold Award and the Best Advertising Video Award in the Joint University Outstanding Marketing Award (JUOMA) 2017/18.

JUOMA is an annual competition advocating students’ creativity and providing them opportunities to obtain hands-on experience in marketing and advertising. This year, a total of 388 teams participated in the competition. The contestants were required to devise a marketing proposal, shoot an advertising video and create an online campaign.

Thanks to great efforts made by the team and support from Dr Felix Tang, Associate Professor of the Department of Marketing, the HSMC team entered the final and won two awards. Team members are:

Professor Bradley R Barnes, Dean of the School of Business, greeted, “This is an incredible achievement by our hard-working team. I have personally watched them work on various projects and I was always confident that they would win. It is especially pleasing to see students working together from different BBA programmes, I really feel this provided the added spark.”
