HSMC Students Took Championship and Won Best Debater in TIHK CTA Tax Debate Competition 2017

HSMC team took the championship in the CTA Tax Debate Competition held on 27 and 28 May 2017, and its student Wilson Chan  Tsz Ho (BBA-Accounting Year 4)  was awarded “The Best Debater”. Congratulations!

The competition was organised by the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong. A total of nine teams from local higher education institutions entered the competition, including Hong Kong University (1st runner-up), Hong Kong Shue Yan University (2nd runner-up), Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong Baptist University, City University of Hong Kong (CityU), Open University of Hong Kong and School of Continuing and Professional Education of CityU. The HSMC team comprised Wilson Chan Tsz Ho, Ng Shang Him (BBA-Accounting Year 3), Andrew Law Cheuk Kit (BBA-CG Year 3) and Ng Cheuk Ting (BJC Year 2).

This is the second year HSMC participated in the competition. Last year, HSMC was 1st runner-up after CUHK.
