The HSMC Information Day 2017 was held on 18 Nov 2017, attended by over 1,000 parents, students and teachers. In addition to programme exhibition, seminars and workshops which enhanced visitors’ understanding of HSMC and its programmes, an introduction to the College’s latest development was given by President Simon Ho. Dr Esther Ho, Vice-Chairperson of Hong Kong Association of Careers Masters and Guidance Masters, hosted a feature talk titled “Selection Strategies of Undergraduate Programmes” to offer inspiring insights to parents and students on university admissions in Hong Kong and post-secondary programme selection.

Visitors could also talk to our professors and students for a thorough understanding of their interested programmes and admission requirements. Most up-to-date admission information for 2018 entry was available such as, eg 2017 admission scores, Principal Recommended Admission Scheme, entrance scholarships, Non-means-tested Subsidy Scheme, etc. Many prospective students submitted online applications and attended on-site assessment, looking forward to receiving early bird conditional offers.

Campus tours were held to showcase the College’s professional and state-of-the-art teaching facilities, and its outstanding learning environment. Sports facilities including indoor swimming pool and table tennis court were open to visitors free of charge. Student performance by HSMC Sinfonietta and a Badminton Competition organised by Residential College duly demonstrated the energetic college life at HSMC.
