First SU Annual Dinner after University Retitling

The first SU Annual Dinner hosted by the Students’ Union (SU) after the university retitling was held on 28 Feb 2019. Being one of the most anticipated events of the year, the dinner was attended by more than 600 guests, including students, staff and alumni of HSUHK, student representatives from fellow institutions as well as representatives from the nearby community. To mark the opening of the event, President Simon S M Ho and Li Cheung Kuk, SU President, were invited to deliver the opening and welcoming remarks respectively, followed by the roasted pig cutting ceremony joined by honorable guests.

Over the years, SU Annual Dinner has become the occasion for student organisations to get together and this year was no exception. Participants dressed in distinctive costume to attend the reunion. Besides the delicious Poon Choi, the event was loaded with performance, game, prize, and most importantly the laughter shared by students, staff and friends from the community.
