First EDC Advisors Meeting 2017

The Executive Development Centre (EDC) was established in Sep 2015 to offer high quality executive development programmes and activities for individuals and corporations.  An EDC Advisory Group was set up to guide the EDC to provide competitive programmes and to increase public awareness of the EDC and its services – programmes, courses, conferences, seminars, workshops, surveys and consultancy services.

The EDC Advisory Group comprises senior executives from academia, professional associations and commercial organisations. Members of the group include Dr Haksin Chan, Head and Associate Professor of Department of Marketing, HSMC; Mr Chen Man Lung, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of Culturecom Holdings Limited; Mr Bobby Chung, Chairman and Managing Director of Hong Kong Storage Limited; Prof Desmond Hui, Professor of Department of Social Science, HSMC; Prof Y V Hui, Vice-President (Academic and Research) of HSMC; Mr Nick Ip, Executive Director of Eastern Culture International Limited; Ms Ashley Khoo, President of The Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts (HKSFA); Mr Kenneth Lai, Chairman of Friends of LSE (the London School of Economics and Political Science), Hong Kong; Mr Leo Lee, Managing Partner of Benington Capital Limited and Deputy President of ACCA; Mr Alan Luk, Head of Hang Seng Bank Limited – Private Banking and Trust Services.

The first advisory meeting took place on 17 Mar 2017 and the advisors gathered and shared their insights. The EDC hopes to grow better and stronger under their great guidance and advice.
