Dr Wan received his PhD in Government and Public Administration from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and holds an MA in Sociology from National Tsing Hua University and a BA in Liberal Studies Education from The Education University of Hong Kong. His research interests include comparative politics, comparative political economy, social inequality, public opinion, social policy, sport and health issues in social science, and quantitative methods. His scholarly work has been published in leading international journals, including World Politics, Political Science Research and Methods, World Development, and Social Indicators Research.
