    溫健民博士於香港中文大學取得政治與行政學哲學博士學位，並分別於國立清華大學取得社會學碩士學位，以及於香港教育大學取得通識教育文學士學位。他的研究興趣包括比較政治、比較政治經濟、社會不平等、公共輿論、社會政策、社會科學中的運動與健康議題及量化方法。他的學術著作曾刊登於多份國際頂尖期刊，包括World Politics、Political Science Research and Methods、World Development及Social Indicators Research。
