    Terms of Reference

    The University Advancement and Foundation Committee shall be subject to the terms of reference as follows:

    1. to provide strategic advice on fundraising to the University;
    2. to raise funds to support the objectives and programmes of the University;
    3. to monitor, evaluate and report all fundraising activities undertaken by the University and The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong – Foundation (HSUHK – Foundation);
    4. to safekeep the external donations to HSUHK through HSUHK – Foundation accounts;
    5. to oversee the use of funds of HSUHK – Foundation;
    6. to maintain an independent income and expenditure statement of the Foundation;
    7. to receive the audit report of the Foundation statement; and
    8. to monitor and report the uses of funds of HSUHK – Foundation.
