Educational Trip to Bamboo Nursery in Guangzhou
Mr MartinTam, Chairman of Steering Committee on Campus Expansion led an educational tripto bamboo nurseries in Guangzhou. A total of 20 representatives including PresidentProf Simon Ho, Dr Tom Fong, Associate Vice-President (Student Development andCampus Services), staff from Campus Development and Management Office and also Communications and Public AffairsOffice, together witharchitectsand designers from Wong & Ouyang, Kaden and other construction partners joined the meaningful trip.
Thedelegation visited Guangzhou Fuyun Bamboo Nursery (廣州富韻竹苗場) inZeng Cheng district. Prof Wong and MrLuo from the bamboo nursery received the delegation and introduced differentkinds of bamboo which are used for the construction of HSMC’s green campus.
