Convocation for New Students 2014-15
The Convocation for New Students 2014-15 was successfully held on 4 September2014. The ceremony was officiated by thePresident, and attended by the Provost, Vice Presidents, Deans, Heads ofDepartments, Programme Directors, andkey Academic and Administrative Officers. Over 1,600 new degree and associatedegree students and nearly 20 exchange students received a formal and warmwelcome.
Professor Simon Ho,the President, delivered a welcoming remark to the new students, and encouragedthe students to widen their horizons with “5Cs” (Critical thinking, Creativity,Communication, Caring attitude, and Character) and wish them an enjoyablecollege life.
An instrumental music performance by the students and alumniof the College rounded up the ceremony giving all an enjoyable time.
