The School of Translation and Foreign Languages (STFL), supported by the Hong Kong Young Industrialists Council (HKYIC), hosted a career talk titled “Meet-the-Bosses Session” to motivate and inspire postgraduate students from the Master of Arts in Translation (Business and Legal) and Master of Arts in Translation (Computer-Aided Translation) programmes at HSUHK. The event gave students a unique opportunity to engage with CEOs and industry leaders and equip themselves with the knowledge, skills, and networks necessary to thrive in their careers.
The speakers included Mr Benedict Sin, Director and General Manager of Myer Jewellery Manufacturer Limited and member of the Foundation Management Committee at HSUHK; Mr Eugene Chan, Managing Director of Man Yue Technology Holdings Limited and President of HKYIC; Mr Felix Choi, CEO of Nongreat Mold Limited and Executive Vice President of HKYIC; and Ms Glendy Choi, Executive Director and CEO of D&G Technology Holding Company Limited and Honorary Treasurer of HKYIC.
At the event, the speakers interacted with attendees in groups and shared their personal anecdotes, analysed industry trends and future prospects, and gave suggestions to students for their career development.
