To enhance fellow students’ critical thinking and debating skills, the Residential Colleges organised the 1st Inter-Residential Colleges Chinese Debate Competition 2017/18 on 22 Mar 2017.

All debate teams prepared well for the competition with Wellness College being the winning team of the night. Best Debater Awards were also presented in the Preliminary and Final matches. Adjudicators highly appreciated the efforts of participants and shared with them the clues for winning a debate and deliberation of argument.

1st Runner-up: Evergreen College (CHAN Chi Hei, LAI Sze Kui Ken, LEUNG Ka Man, KWAN Shun Ting Shanty)
Best Debater: CHAN Chi Hei (Evergreen College), HO Tsz Wai (Amity College) and SO Sui Tai (Wellness College)
