Mr Carter Ng, Head of Corporate Communications of Hong Kong Red Cross, gave a talk in the SCOM Talk Series 28 on 15 March 2017. Mr Ng introduced the public relations strategies such as how to preach media.He explained the importance of an attractive ‘Tagline’ in press release and the function of self-media.He also shared his past experiences regarding crisis management in his organisation with the students of the School of Communication (SCOM). During the Q&A session, Mr Ng answered students’ questions in detail. His sharing enriched SCOM students’ understanding on the impact of media and self-media. Both professors and students were greatly inspired.
