    Dr Song possesses both full-time and part-time teaching experience in universities in Mainland China and Hong Kong. He has had a good record of academic publication in journalism and communication. He had taught at Shue Yan University before he was appointed as Associate Professor of School of Communication at Hang Seng Management College.
