Residential Colleges Fight for Their Glories in the Second Competition of The Council Chairman Bowl, Inter-RCs Tug of War Competition

 January 2020

The second match of the Council Chairman Bowl 2019, inter-RCs Tug of War, was held on 18 January at the Sports Hall of the Lee Shau Kee Complex on campus. Each Residential College formed a team of 8 comprised of at least 7 male and 1 female.

The RC Masters, Associate Masters and Resident Tutors were actively engaged in the games by cheering for the players or being on the field themselves, demonstrating what “Unity We Stand” meant to the residents.

There were vigorous battles between the RCs, particularly the final match between Evergreen College and Mosaic College. Evergreen College defended its second championship in the Bowl, while Mosaic College was the 1st runner-up. Amity College and Wellness College were the 2nd and 3rd runners-up of the match respectively.

To encourage more residents to participate in the Bowl, the first-ever non-sport competition of the Bowl – Cooking Competition, will be held on 20 February 2020.
