Abstract | With advancing technology, students have myriad sources to acquire information and knowledge. Teaching now entails not only transferring knowledge but also instilling in students the appreciation for its value. Drawing parallels between teaching and marketing knowledge, two recipients of the Teaching Excellence Award from the Department of Marketing delve into the challenges educators encounter in today’s educational environment. They offer insights on student motivation and innovative teaching and learning activities aimed at engaging and empowering students. Session planning and delivery techniques to inspire unmotivated students will also be explored. This collaborative session, enriched by alumni participation, reveals the intersection of marketing knowledge in fostering innovative and effective teaching pedagogies, underscoring the importance of continual personal and professional development. |
