The Student Affairs Office signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Yiwu Overseas Friendship Association to strengthen youth exchanges between Hong Kong and Yiwu. The partnership includes the Mainland Summer Internship Programme, exchange tours and e-commerce video training courses to deepen students’ understanding of national development and regional integration, and prepare them for emerging opportunities.

At the signing ceremony, Association representatives highlighted Yiwu’s strategic location and industrial strengths as the “World Supermarket”. The HSUHK delegation also visited Yiwu International Trade City, the world’s largest wholesale market for small commodities, and the China-Africa Building to gain insights into Yiwu’s international trade and economic cooperation.
