HSMC Team Second Runner-up in Maritime and Logistics Hackathon 2017

A HSMC team formed by three students was 2nd Runner-up in the Maritime and Logistics Hackathon 2017 held from 24 to 26 Nov 2017, one of the many events organised in the Hong Kong Maritime Week. Over 50 student teams from postgraduate and undergraduate programmes in Asia participated in this 40-hour competition, during which a business model, application or prototype had to be built. HSMC team built an insightful discovery analysis management information system on vessel arrival and departure schedule performance during the Hackathon.
