GE Salon – Virtual Reality and Our Lives

GE Salons aim to broaden students’ horizon with different fields of knowledge. On 3 Oct 2017, the Centre for Teaching and Learning and the Virtual Reality Centre jointly organised the first GE Salon in 2017/18 academic year, which was associated with the GE module “SCM2201 Virtual Reality for Society”. Mr Philip Kong, Chief Operating Officer of Virtual Reality Technology Holdings Limited and Vice President of 3Glasses, was invited to share his rich experience in Virtual Reality (VR) and explained how it would change our daily lives. He talked about global market trend of VR, applications of VR in different industries and introduced the latest technology on VR products.
