Forum on “Creating a Welcoming, Positive and Productive Learning Environment”

To explore strategies and tips for creating a welcoming, positive and productive learning environment for students, the Centre for Teaching and Learning and Staff Development Committee invited three experienced teachers, Dr Chan Chi Kit, Assistant Professor of the School of Communication, Dr Holly Chung, Senior Lecturer of the Department of English, and Dr Wong Muk Yan, Assistant Professor of the Department of Social Science, to conduct a forum entitled “Creating a Welcoming, Positive and Productive Learning Environment” on 12 Oct 2017.

At the forum, the three speakers shared with colleagues their valuable experience in how to create a welcoming, positive and productive learning environment for students. Participants were keen to raise questions and got a lot of ideas and tips from speakers.

The forum was well attended by about 30 staff members from different departments and schools, who found the forum informative and useful.
