16 October 2015
Hang Seng Management College (HSMC) Executive Development Centre (EDC) offers top notch executive development programmes and strives to assist corporations with their executive development plans in better nurturing their corporate leaders and business executives.
“Leadership with Heart” seminar is organised along with the soft launch of EDC at HSMC on 16 October 2015, attended by over 100 local business leaders, partners, academics, alumni, staff and students.
We were glad to have Mr Sunny Wong, Executive Director of Tibet 5100 Water Resources Holdings Ltd and ex-chairman of Carlsberg Greater China sharing his leadership experience and adventurous stories that have changed his life. It was an inspiring and touching seminar, especially when Mr Wong and his guests, Ms Jennifer Wong and Dr Jerry Wong shared how they struggled to excel themselves regardless of poor studying results and Ms Wong’s serious health conditions.
Addressing the welcome remarks, President Simon S M Ho, introduced the College development, our facilities and objectives of EDC to our guests.
Ms Joanna Kwok, Director of EDC, introduced the scope of services including executive development training programmes, consultancy work, conferences and seminars for business executives.
Upcoming activities include “Career in Banking & Enhance Success in Career Placement” by Prof Albert Ip, Executive Director & CEO of Langham Hospitality Investments on 13 November (co-host with Student Affairs Office of HSMC), conference on “Market Outlook – Is It a Bubble? ” by Dr Edward I Altman, Max L Heine Professor of Finance at the Stern School of Business, New York University and The Hon.
