BBA-CG Student Garners “For Our Future Scholarship” 2020/21

Out of 300 applicants from 13 educational institutes, Ms Vanessa Cheung, Year-3 student from the BBA (Hons) in Corporate Governance Programme, has been selected by the Greater Bay Area Homeland Youth Community Foundation as one of the 15 finalists for the newly established “For Our Future Scholarship” 2020/21.

The judging panel considered candidates’ performance in academic studies, personal development in specific areas including sports, art, music, etc, participation in social services, students’ commitment to Hong Kong and their desire to continue serving the society after graduation to award the outstanding local students. Vanessa impressed the Foundation as well as the selection panel with her outstanding performance at the final interview and her extensive community services experience which she has got since her secondary school life. Dr Tom Fong, Vice-President (Organisational Development); Ms Jessie Wong, Manager of the Student Affairs Office and Vanessa attended the Award Presentation Ceremony on 9 March 2021 together to share the happiness.

In order to enable students to better understand the development and potential of the Greater Bay Area (GBA), the Foundation will arrange GBA exchange tour for the awardees and applicants, in which the youth will broaden their eyesight and get equipped for their future career plan.
