Arts@HSUHK held the premiere of a newly choreographed dance performance, Elegance of Ancient Chinese Dances, by the Hong Kong Dance Company (HKDC) on 6 February 2024. The programme showcased signature pieces from the pre-Qin Period to Qing Dynasty, including Chinese aesthetics in the art of dancing, and traditional culture in rites, music, etiquette, costumes, poetry and songs. 

The HKDC dancers guided over 200 audience members through the performance with interactive elements as they displayed oriental aesthetics and the beauty of body movements through form, inspiration, and context.
