Module Description
This module introduces the Internet application development workflow, the basics of client-side technologies including HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Students are expected to build a simple web application from scratch. The fundamentals of programming including function, array and object will also be introduced.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:

  1. construct a basic workflow for web app development;

  2. assemble a simple user interface using HTML and CSS;

  3. apply programming techniques to add interactivity to web applications; and

  4. apply Javascript objects/JSON in client-server interactions.
