This module is designed to provide students with detailed insight into fundamentals in media management in an era of change. Students will learn the major issues in media management and examine and analyze the new challenges being posed by cultural, production and technological changes in the new millennium to media management.
Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:
- explain current practice of media management and its great challenges;
- discuss the impact of social, political and economic factors on media management;
- identify and explain with examples the major issues in today’s media management; and
- discuss the media regulations and ethical concerns in media management.
