Module Description
The module aims to introduce the dialogue of social responsibility embedded in contemporary global issues. Specifically, it unravels the ethical ground and moral reasoning beneath intellectual debates surrounding modernization and globalization. Students are expected to understand, analyze, and critically examine the significant global issues and their implication to social responsibility.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:

  1. understand the contemporary global issues and their related dialogue of social responsibility;

  2. analyze the related ethical ground and moral reasoning of the social responsibility relating to the contemporary global issues;

  3. apply the dialogue of social responsibility of the contemporary global issues to various cases; and

  4. critically examine the validity and significance of social responsibility to the contemporary global issues.
