The Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) hosted the grand finale of the ninth HSUHK Entrepreneurship Challenge (E‑Challenge) on 2 June 2026. Eight shortlisted teams of students from HSUHK and other institutions pitched their entrepreneurship proposals and took part in Q&A sessions.
The championship finally went to the team led by Chan Ka-ki (BBA (Hons) in Finance and Banking, Year 4), with their AI platform for cross‑border advertising translation and creative adaptation, AdVision. Chan Ka-ki also received the Outstanding Presenter Award for an excellent performance.
The first runner-up went to the team led by Sin Kit-yiu (BSc (Hons) in Data Science and Business Intelligence, Year 4), for SpeakAble HK, an assistive EdTech solution that supports Cantonese pronunciation practice for SEN students. The second runner-up was awarded to the team led by On Ha-yee (BBA (Hons) in Marketing, Year 4), for PAWSE, a smart dog‑leash system that transform dog-walking data into actionable health insights.
