Graduate School of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, in collaboration with the Department of Social Work and Social Administration at The University of Hong Kong, co-organises the 10th Anniversary Conference of Child Development Initiative Alliance (CDIA).
In a world marked by political and economic turmoil, Hong Kong faces both opportunities and challenges. Research shows that many young people in Hong Kong are uncertain about their futures and feel adrift. It is essential for both the government and the academic community to support the new generation in identifying and developing their strengths.
After a decade of dedicated effort, CDIA advocates for young individuals to establish their “career aspirations” early, enabling them to reshape their life paths. Collaboration among the business sector, social welfare organisations, and civil society in Hong Kong is vital. This conference aims to foster dialogue among all sectors, gathering insights to collectively contribute to the development of a robust talent pool for the future of Hong Kong.
