Arts at HSMC: Bertolt Brecht’s Galileo


The Arts at HSMC presented Bertolt Brechts’s Galileo at the Auditorium of Block D on19 November 2014. The Provost’s Office invited Hong Kong Theatre Works to bringthis theatrical production to HSMC students and staff. The play uses the storyof the great physicist Galileo to examine the issues of scientific morality andthe difficult relationship between the intellectual and authority.

 

The performance received overwhelming response from theaudience (about 100 students and teachers) and there were in-depth discussionson the play with the director, actors and actresses after the show. Theaudience commented that the performance was impressive and inspiring.
