HSMC Held Information Day 2012

The results of 2012 Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination and Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination are about to release. In order to provide first-hand admission information to the exam candidates, Hang Seng Management College (HSMC) held “Information Day 2012” on 16 June.

Activities on the Information Day included programme seminars, exhibition, enquiry and campus tour. Some of the schools/departments accepted on-site applications, and some have conducted written tests and interviews. It was estimated that nearly 1,000 secondary students and parents paid a visit to HSMC.

Founded in May 2010, HSMC has aimed at fostering potential business specialists. It is currently embarking on a long term development plan with the goal of becoming a leading private university. Since September 2010, HSMC has successively launched five degree programmes, namely, Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours), Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Supply Chain Management, Bachelor of Translation with Business (Honours), Bachelor of Journalism and Communication (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts in English (Honours). All programmes have been officially accredited and approved by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications.

To meet the increasing demand of teaching facilities, HSMC has carried out a master plan for new campus sites’ development. The new site A teaching block, which can accommodate approximately 1,400 students, will be completed in the coming September.
