The 2016 Graduation Ceremony of Hang Seng Management College was held on 1 and 2 December 2016 at the College Hall. Ms Rose Lee, Chairman of the Board of Governors of HSMC and Dr Moses Cheng, Chairman of the College Council,were invited to officiate at the Ceremony on 1 and 2 December 2016 respectively. Board and Council members and honourable guests also attended the Ceremony to share the joyest event with graduates.

Both Degrees and Associate Degrees were conferred at the Ceremony with 1,401 graduates from Bachelor of Arts in English (Honours), Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours), Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Supply Chain Management, Bachelor of Journalism and Communication (Honours),Bachelor of Management Science and Information Management (Honours), Bachelor of Translation with Business (Honours) and 71 graduates from Associate Degree in Business Administration.

President Simon S M Ho delivered a speech and expressed his warmest wish for the graduates. He shared with the graduates on his views on critical thinking and personal values and hoping that graduates could reflect on the meaning and values of life and be loyal to their own aspirations when they pursue their careers. He also hoped that graduates could face the difficulties, adversities or dilemmas with a positive and calm attitude and adhere to their belief of personal values.

The second HSMC Teaching Excellence Awards were presented at the Ceremony. The awards are established to recognise and reward distinguished teachers who have demonstrated outstanding performance in teaching, dedication to continuous improvement in pedagogy, and made adistinguished contribution to teaching. The Award Recipients included Dr Gavin Bui (Department of English), Mr Alan Chan (Department of Computing), Dr Chan Chi Kit (School of Communication), Dr Michael Chan (Department of Social Science), Dr Sammy Hu (School of Communication), Dr Lam Wing Kin (Department of Chinese), Dr Victor Lau (Department of Management), Dr Heather Lee (Department of Accountancy), Dr Lawrence Lo (Department of Marketing), Dr Daniel Mo(Department of Supply Chain and Information Management) and Dr Siu Yam Wing(Department of Economics and Finance).

After the Ceremony, guests, academic staff and graduates mingled and enjoyed the tea reception. They also took pictures together to capture the memorable moments.

Dean Scarlet Tso (School of Communication) presented the graduands of Bachelor of Journalism and Communication (Honours) to the Chairman of Board of Governors for the degree conferment and congratulated the graduates

Dean Gilbert Fong (School of Translation) presented the graduands of Bachelor of Translation with Business (Honours) to the Chairman of Board of Governors for the degree conferment and congratulated the graduates

Acting Dean Brossa Wong (School of Business) presented the graduands of Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) and Associate in Business Administration to the Chairman of College Council for the degree conferment and congratulated the graduates
