A Supply Chain Decarbonisation Seminar on Aviation Logistics and Environmental Sustainability was carried out in Hang Seng Management College on 24 March 2016 (Thursday). The seminar was organised by the Department of Supply Chain and Information Management from a funding research project supported by the Research Grant Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, China (UGC/FDS14/B20/14). Three guest speakers were invited to give the speech about Aviation and Logistics: Air Freight Operations and Warehouse (Mr Chapman Fong, Project Director, SF Express), Carbon Emission Trading and its Latest Development in Mainland China (Ms Tian Xue, Senior Manager, China Emission Exchange), and CILTHK Introduction and Program Accreditation (Mr Franki Li, Chairperson, YMC, CILTHK). The participants include members of the project team, students of Hang Seng Management College and representatives of Carbon Care Asia. The seminar aimed to increase the awareness in aviation logistics and carbon emission trading. Meanwhile, a leaflet of supply chain decarbonisation project was distributed to the audience.
