Leadership Training Workshop for Goodwill Ambassadors

26 March 2016

In order to strengthen the sense of belongingness and responsibility of new members joining the scheme of Goodwill Ambassadors in 2016, they participated in a training workshop held by Ms Glacial Cheng, the Senior Lecturer of the School of Communication.  The workshop named “A.S.K. Leadership Training Programme”, which was organised in the Education & Development Centre of the Salvation Army on 26 March 2016. The workshop gave students a special and meaningful Easter holiday.
The training focused on building up student’s positive attitude, skills and knowledge through playing various games that require team spirit. They included Jelly Roll, Cliff, Dragon Fly and Nitro Crossing.  Throughout these games, participants shared views on their own strengths and weaknesses, which paved the way for future cooperation and trust among the group members.
Two coaches gave great support to the activity. Group members were encouraged to become active problem solvers, so that they could apply such skills for meeting future challenges.
The training ended with a thoughtful sharing section.  Members enthusiastically shared their feelings, which showed that the training could help building good relationship and team spirit of the group.
