Visit from National Taipei University

Following a visit with her students to HSMC in September 2015, Dr Karen Chang, Assistant Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and Applied Linguistics at National Taipei University, and her 15 students visited the School of Translation again on 15 – 19 February 2016. The Student Affairs Office organised a campus tour for the guests and introduce the facilities of the College to them. They visited various translation classes, such as Cultural Issues in Translation, Computer and Business Translation 1, Business Law Translation 2, Professionalism in Translation and Translation Management, Consecutive Interpretation (P-E/E-P) and Simultaneous Interpretation. They participated enthusiastically in in-class activities, including getting a taste of the state-of-the-art learning facilities in the Translation and Interpretation Laboratory and engaging in discussions with our professors and students.
