Bachelor of Arts in Chinese – Programme Orientation Day (2015–2016)

The Department of Chinese held its Programme OrientationDay at the S H Ho Academic Building on20 August 2015. Professor Cheung Kwong Yue, the Department Head and theDirector of the Programme, gave a welcoming speech to all students, encouragingthem to pursue a path of self-cultivation both academically and morally, and adheringto the principle of “moral refinement and learning dedication.” Teachers of theDepartment also introduced the programme details to the students and hosted atour of the Institute for Chinese Language and Culture to inform them of thelearning support available on campus. The Orientation Day provided a preciousopportunity for students and teachers to get to know one another, and alsoassisted freshmen in familiarising themselves with campus life.
