To strengthen parent-university engagement, HSUHK hosted the President’s Reception for Parents on 24 October 2026 under the theme “Together, We Shape the Future”. The event brought together parents, the University’s senior management, faculty members and student representatives to provide parents with a deeper understanding of the University’s educational philosophy, student development initiatives, and campus life.

Professor Joshua Mok, President of HSUHK, shared the University’s educational vision, encouraging students to become globally minded caring professionals and responsible leaders who pursue their aspirations with perseverance and realise their potential through learning and service.

In dialogue with Professor Mok, two Honours Academy students, Abi Wong and Charmaine Leung, shared their internship, leadership development and overseas exchange experiences. Parents also engaged with faculty members on academic programmes, student support and career prospects, followed by guided campus tours, showcasing the University’s learning environment and facilities.
