The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) held its Autumn Careers Fair 2026 from 21 to 22 September under the theme “Gear Up. Link Up.” “Gear Up” encourages students to cultivate a growth mindset and continuously expand their knowledge and skills, while “Link Up” inspires them to proactively engage with employers and different sectors and explore diverse career opportunities. More than 50 renowned local, Greater Bay Area, and international companies and government departments participated in the Fair, representing diverse sectors from accounting, banking and finance, to information technology, retail, and transport and logistics.
In his opening address, Professor Joshua Mok, President of HSUHK, expressed his gratitude to government departments and industry partners for their continued support of the University, noting that the Careers Fair demonstrated the shared commitment of the University and its partners to nurturing the next generation of talent. He said, as AI is rapidly transforming how people learn, work, and create value, future talent should possess professional expertise while remaining curious and adaptable, and committed to lifelong learning.
Held in collaboration with the Civil Service Bureau, the Careers Fair featured a “Government Job Recruitment Fair”. Participating government departments included disciplined services, the Independent Commission Against Corruption, the Digital Policy Office, and Radio Television Hong Kong. Several participating departments also hosted recruitment talks, providing students with up-to-date information on application procedures.
The Fair also featured a series of recruitment talks and career preparation activities, including workshops on applying for government jobs and preparing for the Common Recruitment Examination, using AI to enhance CVs, and AI-assisted interview and competency assessment skills. These initiatives provided students with up-to-date job-seeking information and practical skills, further strengthening their employability and competitiveness.
