Everyone has different life goals or stage-specific goals. Achieving these goals is not easy; we face difficulties and challenges, and sometimes we may get lost and discouraged. However, as long as we move in the right direction, our values and beliefs will be our compass, our True North.
Organised by the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL), HSUHK held its fifth TEDxHSUHK event this year. The event featured a line up of six speaking units, featuring seven speakers from all walks of life; namely Phaedrus Lam and Chucky Chan (content creators and hosts), Harold Yip (business person), Johnny Hui (TV host and actor), Kearen Pang (playwright, actress and director), Chu Pak-him (actor, musician and band member), and Jacky Tong (actor and video creator). The speakers inspired over 100 live audience members and over 500 online viewers.
We would like to thank the TEDxHSUHK co-organisers and our league of student volunteers for helping the event reach new heights by working together in different capacities: speaker buddies, multimedia production, promotion, souvenir design, stage and site management, among other responsibilities.
